Job Description

The Role: Project Manager (with SDET expertise)

This is a hybrid role, part project lead, part quality guardian. You'll be the driving force behind our sprint cycles, ensuring smooth planning, clear communication, quality releases, and a balanced workload across team members.

You'll also roll up your sleeves as an SDET: writing automated tests, performing manual testing where needed, and embedding quality into our fast-paced development lifecycle.

What You'll DoProject & Sprint Management (Primary Focus)

  • Lead and manage sprints from planning and backlog grooming to retrospectives and release coordination.
  • Ensure clear communication, task ownership, and follow-up between developers, AI specialists, and product/design.
  • Track progress using tools like Jira or Linear, and manage project timelines, blockers, and priorities.
  • Keep a pulse on delivery readiness and quality across features and agents.
  • Own the sprint cadence and help maintain a healthy developer velocity.

Software Quality & Test Engineering (SDET Focus)

  • Design and maintain automated test frameworks (front-end, API, and back-end).
  • Write test cases and scripts for key user flows and run manual tests when automation doesn't cut it.
  • Ensure test coverage, traceability, and documentation of results.
  • Collaborate with developers to catch bugs early, improve testability, and support a high-quality release cycle.
  • Test data flows, AI agents, and prompt-based systems using Python and JavaScript tools.

You Bring

  • 45 years of experience in software development, testing, or QA project management.
  • Solid hands-on experience as an SDET or test engineer (manual + automated).
  • Experience leading Agile-style sprints and managing small, cross-functional tech teams.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript/React and Python for writing test scripts and automation.
  • Knowledge of LLM-based systems, AI workflows, or data-heavy applications is a big plus.
  • Strong communication skills, independence, and a love for bringing structure to fast-moving environments.
