Job Summary: Wissen Technology is hiring a skilled SDET with expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to join our QA Automation team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end automation frameworks and test suites.

Location: Mumbai

Mode of Work: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and improve end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
  
• Design scalable and reusable automation frameworks and utilities.
  
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to translate requirements into test scenarios.
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  
• Perform functionality, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing.
  
• Debug test failures, analyze logs, and provide root-cause analysis.
  
• Ensure high test coverage and maintain clean, well-structured code.
  
• Implement best practices for automation and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  
  

Requirements:

• 38 years of overall QA experience with minimum 2+ years in Playwright and TypeScript.
  
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern testing concepts.
  
• Hands-on experience with Playwright features such as fixtures, selectors, tracing, parallel execution, and test runners.
  
• Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
  
• Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
  
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.
  
• Familiarity with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, DOM).
  
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Good To Have Skills:

• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  
• Exposure cloud-based test execution platforms.
  
• Experience with performance testing tools.
