What you'll do:

• 8+ years of experience in software testing/quality engineering, with significant hands-on experience in test automation.
• Own the overall test strategy, automation, and quality engineering for Refold.ai's platform, connectors, and internal tools.
• Design and maintain comprehensive end-to-end, integration, API, and regression test suites covering critical product workflows.
• Build, scale, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable feedback and prevent regressions from reaching production.
• Partner closely with developers and PMs to identify, reproduce, debug, and triage complex issues, driving effective root-cause analysis.
• Define and improve QA standards, testing processes, quality gates, and metrics across the engineering organisation.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively expand automation across high-impact and failure-prone areas.
• Mentor engineers and champion a quality-first engineering culture, ensuring reliability and an exceptional end-user experience across releases.

What we're looking for:

• Experience with Jest, Mocha, or other JavaScript/TypeScript testing frameworks.
• Experience with API automation tools such as Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Experience with performance, load, or reliability testing.
• Experience testing AI/ML products, LLM-powered applications, or complex third-party integrations.
• Experience establishing QA practices and processes in a high-growth startup environment.
