Automation tools:

• Develop and maintain automation test cases using Cypress (WebUI and API).
• Katalon Studio for WebUI and API testing
• Postman API testing

Database Testing:

• Proficient in SQL queries (select, update, delete, insert)
• Create decision tables
• Data validations and perform duplicate and overlapping checks comparing two databases.
• Good knowledge on JavaScript, Java and Groovy programming languages
• Experience in Functional automation and Integration testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing best practices, including test case design, test execution, and defect management.
• Deep understanding of test automation frameworks, and experience in testing both frontend and backend components.
• Proficient in using Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and CI/CD pipelines
• Executing automation scripts in CI/CD pipeline (performing continuous runs and achieving 95% stability)
• Write and maintain BDD Cucumber (Gherkin) Test cases
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Dev team, Solution Architects (SA), Business Analysts (BA), and Technical Project Managers (TPM).
• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub and Bitbucket.
• Candidates with strong consulting background will be preferred.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain modular test cases in Cypress, Katalon Studio, ensuring they can be composed into larger, reusable test suites.
• Automate complex functional, API, and mobile test cases using Katalon and Appium, ensuring high test coverage for critical application areas.
• Collaborate closely with the SA, BA, TPM, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-complexity test scenarios, focusing on critical business logic.
• Continuously optimize and refactor automated test suites to improve performance, stability, and coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing during development and deployment.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution to maintain high product quality.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other QA team members in building complex, composable automated tests.
