About the Role: SDET Intern

As an intern, you will be part of the highperforming Finance Technology Quality Engineering team, supporting Finance and OrdertoCash (OTC) applications. In this role, you will assist in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of technology solutions through testing, analysis, and continuous improvement activities. You will gain handson experience in QA methodologies, automation concepts, and Agile practices while working closely with senior QA engineers, developers, and business stakeholders.

Your work will focus on learning how to validate application functionality, contribute to test automation efforts, and support quality processes—helping the team deliver highquality products efficiently.

The Team

You will be part of a highperforming Finance Technology Quality Engineering team that partners closely with Technology functions and business stakeholders to support Finance and OrdertoCash (OTC) applications. The team operates in a collaborative, fastpaced Agile environment and is globally distributed. As an independent and empowered group, the team drives decisions that enhance customer experience, enable operational excellence, and contribute to revenue growth through rapid, highquality delivery of products.

Responsibilities And Impact

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industrystandard tools and frameworks for functional and regression testing.
  • Perform manual tests—including exploratory, regression, and adhoc testing—to validate system functionality and identify defects.
  • Develop and maintain automation test frameworks and enhance existing frameworks for efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design and develop or maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and address testing needs.
  • Collaborate with QA team members to develop Gen AI Use cases for QA
  • Conduct performance and load testing to validate scalability and reliability.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve automation and application performance issues.
  • Ensure application security and data integrity through thorough testing.
  • Stay current with new tools, trends, and technologies in test automation and quality engineering.
  • Share knowledge, documentation, and best practices across teams.

What We're Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications

  • Any Graduate
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (OOPs/Design Patterns), Data Structures, and Algorithms.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or any ObjectOriented Programming language.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, SQL
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • ISTQB Certification (Preferred).
  • Hands on experience working on Gen AI pilot projects
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Quick learner and selfstarter with a positive attitude.
