Intern Mobile Frontend SDET (Automation Testing)

Role Summary
We are looking for a Mobile Frontend SDET Intern who is enthusiastic about learning and contributing to automation testing of Android and iOS applications, with a strong focus on frontend (UI) testing. This role is well-suited for college students or fresh graduates interested in mobile automation and quality engineering.
You will work closely with experienced SDETs and developers to build, execute, and maintain reliable automated test suites for mobile applications.Key Responsibilities
- Automate Android and iOS frontend (UI) applications using mobile automation frameworks
- Write and execute automated test cases for key user journeys and UI flows
- Perform frontend validations such as navigation, UI elements, and screen behavior
- Analyze automation failures and help reduce flaky test cases
- Assist in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain automation scripts, test reports, and basic documentation
- Collaborate with QA and development teams during feature testing and releases
Required Skills & Eligibility
- Basic understanding of software testing fundamentals
- Interest in mobile application testing and automation
- Programming basics in Java / Python / JavaScript
- Familiarity with Git or any version control system
- Understanding of basic frontend concepts such as UI elements, locators, and user interactions
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Exposure to mobile frontend automation using UIAutomator, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar tools
- Familiarity with test automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Introductory knowledge of API testing
- Prior internship, academic project, or self-learning project in testing or automation
