Job Description

This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of Jumio's products. By building and maintaining automated testing frameworks, you will accelerate software releases and improve confidence in product quality. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and support the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Role Value:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Development: Build and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for web and API testing using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
  • Test Strategy & Execution: Design and implement test strategies, test cases, and plans based on technical and business requirements.
  • API Testing: Automate API testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Regression Testing & Bug Identification: Perform systematic and exploratory regression testing to detect defects.
  • Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhance test automation processes, tools, and techniques for better efficiency and coverage.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ months of experience in test automation for web and API applications.
  • Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with web testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
  • Experience with API automation tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and understanding of REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and scripting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
