We are looking for a highly motivated SDET / QA Automation Engineer with strong UI and backend testing experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality engineering, automation, and scalable test solutions.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, scalable automation code using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for Web, API, and data pipelines.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Perform backend validation and data pipeline testing using medium-complexity SQL queries.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across backend, API, and database layers.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure complete test coverage.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Execute functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Maintain documentation for automation coverage and test results.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and quality engineering tools.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking ability and leadership mindset.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in QA / Automation Testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, PyTest, REST Assured, or Playwright.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in SQL for backend and data validation.
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
- Familiarity with Git workflows and version control.
- Exposure to performance or security testing tools such as JMeter or ZAP.
- Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber.
- Basic knowledge of cloud and container technologies, such as AWS and Docker.
