JobSummary:We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Java and modern test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (TypeScript). The ideal candidate will also have experience in manual testing to complement automation efforts, ensuring end-to-end quality across our applications.

Mode of Work: Full time

KeyResponsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, TypeScript, and tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Perform manual testing when needed to validate complex scenarios, exploratory testing, and edge cases.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Contribute to improving test processes, tools, and methodologies.
Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in test automation and manual testing.

Requirements:

Strong programming skills in Java and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
Practical knowledge of Cypress and Playwright (TypeScript) for modern web application testing.
Solid understanding of manual testing techniques including exploratory, functional, and regression testing.
Familiarity with REST API testing (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
