We are looking for a passionate
Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts ensuring product quality and reliability. The role demands a strong understanding of software testing principles, test automation frameworks, and hands-on experience with modern QA tools and CI/CD pipelines.
The Hats You Will Wear
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through the defect management process.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and high product quality.
- Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and ensure consistent automation coverage.
- Implement and optimize test frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Participate in sprint planning, story reviews, and daily stand-ups as part of the Agile process.
- Continuously improve automation practices and contribute to QA strategy and best practices.
The Perfect Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
- 3 - 7 years of experience in automation testing of web and API-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium / Playwright / Cypress and RestAssured / Postman / Karate for API testing.
- Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript (one or more).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Your Edge Over the Rest
- Experience working in fintech, banking, or payments domains.
- Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of security and compliance testing standards.
