SDET Automation Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SDET - Automation Engineer with 3 - 7 years of experience in QA and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python-based automation frameworks, UI & API testing, and experience working in Linux-based CI/CD environments. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality and reliable software releases.

Core Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks.

• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts using Python.

• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and gaps.

• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform root cause analysis and debugging in Linux-based environments.

• Participate in test planning, test case design, and release validation activities.

• Track and manage defects using standard defect tracking tools.

• Continuously improve automation coverage, performance, and reliability.

Must-Have :

• 3 - 7 years of experience in QA / SDET roles.

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Python programming and automation frameworks.

• Strong experience in UI and API automation framework development.

• Proficiency in Linux commands and debugging in CI/CD environments.

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking processes.

• Good working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
