design effective testing approaches.
They know:
- What to test (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- When to test
- How to balance manual vs automated testing
- Basically, think strategically about quality, not just execution.
Framework development
They can
build and maintain testing frameworks (automation setups, tools, reusable structures).
This means:
- Writing scalable, reusable test code
- Setting up automation pipelines
- Choosing the right tools for efficiency
- Not just using tools, but creating systems others can use.
Product architecture
They understand how the
entire system is designed:
- Frontend, backend, APIs, databases
- How components interact
- Where failures can occur
- This helps design smarter tests and catch deeper issues.
