Description
We are seeking a motivated SDET-1 to join our quality assurance team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in software testing and automation, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions to ensure the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand the functionality of the product being tested.
- Identify, record, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality.
- Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Perform manual testing when necessary and provide insights for improving test coverage.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database testing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
