As an SDE- III Backend, you will drive the development of scalable, reliable, and performant systems. You will work closely with product management, front-end engineers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring alignment with the company's technical and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the design and architecture of complex backend systems.
- Mentor junior engineers (SDE-1/2).
- Identify technical debt and drive long-term engineering improvements.
- Make architecture-level decisions with cross-team impact.
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security at scale.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (product, infra, business) to align technical goals.
- Conduct deep design and code reviews, and enforce standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6-8+ years of experience in backend development with a proven track record of leading engineering teams.
- Strong experience with backend language ie, Node.js .
- Experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL), caching systems, and RESTful APIs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B. Tech), or related technical field.
- Hands-on experience designing and scaling backend services and APIs.
- Proven ability to own large systems end-to-end with minimal oversight.
