Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Java Spring Boot, Vert. x and contribute to scalable microservices design.
- Implement APIs and backend workflows for media processing, metadata handling, and playback features.
- Work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust, production-ready features.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in Java backend development using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
- Exposure to GCP or AWS cloud platforms, experience with Kafka, Redis, or Pub/Sub is a plus.
- Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and other DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of media streaming, DRM, or OTT backend architecture is a plus.
