Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hatio. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on designing, implementing, and executing test plans for cutting-edge projects across web, mobile, and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans and cases to ensure product quality across web, mobile, and backend systems.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve them efficiently.
  • Perform API and UI testing, including functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
  • Analyze software bug reports, identify problem areas, and generate detailed test reports.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve application faults and ensure smooth functionality.
  • Write and maintain test cases based on application requirements, ensuring thorough coverage.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify that new updates do not impact existing functionality.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation as needed.
  • Ensure the quality of software releases and sign off on releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies and testing processes.
  • Knowledge of testing protocols such as functional, exploratory, white-box, black-box, regression testing, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think critically about product functionality.
  • Capable of creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and take initiative when needed.
