SDE 2 Back End Developer

About the Role

We're looking for a Back End Developer to design, build, and maintain robust APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core and C#, working closely with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to ship secure, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

·      Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using ASP.NET Core framework with C#.

·      Develop RESTful APIs, web services to support frontend and mobile applications.

·      Integrate data storage solutions such as SQL Server using Entity Framework Core.

·      Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.

·      Optimize application performance, scalability, and security best practices.

·      Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.

·      Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

·      Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues efficiently.

·      Stay informed on emerging technologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements

·      3+ years professional experience developing backend web applications.

·      Proficiency in C# programming and .NET ecosystem.

·      Solid experience with REST API design and implementation.

·      Expertise in Entity Framework Core or similar ORM technologies.

·      Familiarity with relational and non-relational database systems.

·      Understanding of software design patterns and best practices.

·      Experience with version control systems such as Git.

·      Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

·      Experience in writing automated tests and applying TDD principles.

·      Good problem-solving skills and attention to performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

·      Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).

·      Understanding of security concepts like OAuth, JWT, and secure coding practices.

·      Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

·      Strong communication and collaboration skills.

·      Ability to work independently and in a team.

·      Proactive attitude to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
