This is backend engineering at the edge of AI, not just serving APIs, but building intelligence into systems.
What you'll do
- Build and scale backend systems powering AI-driven financial experiences
- Design low-latency, high-throughput services that interact with ML/AI systems
- Work on event-driven architectures and real-time decisioning systems
- Collaborate closely with AI/ML, data, and product teams to productionize intelligence
- Own systems end-to-end from design → deployment → iteration
- Solve for context management, orchestration, and system reliability at scale
What we're looking for
- 3 to 6 years of strong backend engineering experience
- Solid fundamentals in data structures, system design, and distributed systems
- Strong experience building scalable APIs and backend services
- Hands-on with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and performance tuning
- Experience with event-driven systems / async processing / streaming (Kafka, etc.)
- Exposure to AWS and containerized deployments
