As a Backend Software Engineer in our Core Platform Engineering team, you will be building and scaling core backend systems that power our cybersecurity products. You'll tackle high-impact engineering problems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building systems from the ground up, writing clean and efficient code, and are keen to grow their expertise in system design and backend infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Build scalable, maintainable backend services and APIs using NodeJS (with TypeScript) experience here is mandatory.
- Work on systems written in Golang or Python, contributing to multi-language backend architecture.
- Design efficient data models and manage databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) with performance and reliability in mind.
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and Infrastructure teams to deliver robust features end-to-end.
- Drive observability practices: logging, monitoring, and alerting for your services.
- Work in containerized environments (e.g., Docker) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 14 years of experience in backend development.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in NodeJS with TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in Golang or Python is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data modeling and performance tuning.
- Exposure to concurrent systems, caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis) is a plus.
- Comfortable with basic system design; open to mentorship and improving architecture skills.
- A growth mindset willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow with structured mentorship.
