- Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Job Summary:
- As a Scrum Master, you will support the effective functioning of a software development team by using Agile methodologies. Your role involves coaching and mentoring Scrum Teams, removing obstacles to successful implementation, and maintaining a continuous focus on tasks. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Additionally, you will track and report progress using relevant metrics to ensure smooth project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to problem-solving.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor Scrum Team(s), helping remove barriers to successful implementation.
- Track and report project progress using appropriate metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Guide team members in adopting Agile methodologies and practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in the Japanese language.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Cobol Mainframe.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively facilitate and lead meetings.
- Experience in resolving conflicts and removing barriers within the team.
Additional Information:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with the Japanese language is required.
- This position is based in Pune.
- A 15-year full-time education is required.
