• Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Must have skills :

•  Japanese Language

Good to have skills : Cobol Mainframe

Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Job Summary:

• As a Scrum Master, you will support the effective functioning of a software development team by using Agile methodologies. Your role involves coaching and mentoring Scrum Teams, removing obstacles to successful implementation, and maintaining a continuous focus on tasks. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Additionally, you will track and report progress using relevant metrics to ensure smooth project execution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to problem-solving.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor Scrum Team(s), helping remove barriers to successful implementation.
• Track and report project progress using appropriate metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Guide team members in adopting Agile methodologies and practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in the Japanese language.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Cobol Mainframe.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively facilitate and lead meetings.
• Experience in resolving conflicts and removing barriers within the team.

Additional Information:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with the Japanese language is required.
• This position is based in Pune.
• A 15-year full-time education is required.
