Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master with hands-on expertise in JIRA and a solid understanding of QA leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of leading Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing JIRA configurations, and driving quality assurance initiatives. This is a pivotal role aimed at ensuring delivery excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Leadership & Scrum Facilitation
- Guide and mentor Agile teams in Scrum principles and best practices to ensure successful Agile adoption.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as a servant leader, removing impediments and promoting self-organization.
JIRA Administration & Project Tracking
- Manage and optimize JIRA workflows, boards, dashboards, and reporting to suit evolving project needs.
- Ensure JIRA is used effectively for sprint planning, backlog management, and performance tracking.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Provide clear, timely communication with stakeholders on sprint progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Track key Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, throughput) and use insights to improve team performance.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Foster a culture of collaboration across cross-functional teams including developers, testers, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Encourage retrospection, experimentation, and adoption of best practices to elevate team delivery standards.
QA Lead Responsibilities (within Scrum Master Role):
- Oversee and coordinate testing activities within the Agile lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with QA engineers to define and implement testing strategies, automation plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure test coverage, quality assurance processes, and defect tracking are integrated into the sprint lifecycle.
- Support QA team members in driving UAT, regression testing, and continuous integration quality checks.
- Promote a shift-left quality mindset by embedding QA from the start of each sprint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

- Prior experience managing or collaborating with QA/test automation teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and principles.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
