Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive SAFe Scrum Master to drive Agile delivery execution within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment for enterprise software development programs. The candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage sprint and PI execution, remove delivery impediments, coordinate cross-team dependencies, and enable high-performing Agile teams.

Candidates preferably from a Software Development, QA, or Test Automation background with hands-on exposure to SDLC, release management, and enterprise-scale software projects will be highly preferred.

The Scrum Master will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Architects, DevOps, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure predictable, high-quality, and timely software delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in software project delivery or Agile execution.
• Preferably from:
• Software Development
• QA/Testing
• Test Automation
• Technical Lead backgrounds
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in SAFe Agile environments.
• Certifications preferred:
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile and SAFe ceremonies including - Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Grooming/Refinement, PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Sync meetings.
• Coordinate sprint and Program Increment (PI) execution activities.
• Track sprint progress, velocity, capacity utilization, and PI objectives.
• Ensure timely completion of sprint commitments and release milestones.
• Monitor story, feature, defect, and dependency tracking.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, and production readiness.
• Identify and manage cross-functional and cross-team dependencies.
• Remove blockers and impediments impacting team productivity.
• Escalate critical delivery risks to RTEs, management, and stakeholders.
• Drive mitigation planning and issue resolution activities.
• Drive retrospective action items and process improvement initiatives.

Metrics & Reporting

• Track and publish Agile/SAFe delivery metrics including:
• Sprint velocity
• PI predictability
• Burn-down/Burn-up charts
• Defect trends
• Team capacity
• Release readiness
• Prepare dashboards and status reports using Jira

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of:
• SDLC/STLC
• Software release lifecycle
• Defect management processes
• Familiarity with:
• Jira
• Confluence
