Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and agile-minded Scrum Master with 1-2 years of experience to facilitate and steward the Campus as a Workplace transformation model. This unique role requires a leader to coach, mentor, and guide student cohorts (acting as Development Teams) and our dedicated Mentors/Faculty through live, industry-standard R&D projects. You will ensure the seamless, agile execution of our integrated curriculum, driving the full product development lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Scrum Master, your role extends beyond traditional software teams to supervise the entire co-creation ecosystem involving students, mentors, college administration, and TrooperCruit objectives.
1. Agile Facilitation & Execution (Student Cohorts)
- Scrum Ceremonies: Plan, facilitate, and ensure the effectiveness of all Scrum events (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives) for multiple student cohorts.
- Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify, track, and remove organizational, technical, or learning impediments hindering the students progress on live industry problem statements.
- Product Development Lifecycle: Guide student teams through the entire product development lifecyclefrom ideation and requirements gathering (in coordination with corporate partners) to market deployment and monetization strategy.
- Tool Mastery: Ensure consistent and correct usage of Agile tools (e.g., Jira) by students for task management, backlog refinement, and reporting.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on cohort progress, velocity, and key performance indicators to TrooperCruit management and corporate partners.
- College Integration: Collaborate with college staff to ensure the physical environment (Corporate Premises on campus) and operational procedures align with industry workflow demands.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion the Retrospective process to drive continuous improvement not only in project delivery but also in the underlying integrated workplace learning model.
- Knowledge Transfer (KT): Actively address the Framework Failure disconnect by ensuring the effective transfer of theoretical knowledge into tangible, commercialized product output.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:1-2 years of direct experience as a Scrum Master or in an equivalent Agile/Project Facilitation role.
- Certification:Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) is strongly preferred.
- Agile Expertise: Solid, practical understanding of the Scrum framework, scaling techniques, and principles of Kanban.

- Technical Acumen (Understanding team's challenges)
- Soft Skills: Exceptional facilitation, conflict resolution, and written/verbal communication skills necessary to bridge the cultural gap between academic and industrial stakeholders.
- Technical Familiarity: Understanding of the software development process and common technologies (Python, Java, etc.) to effectively communicate with technical mentors and students.
