We are a premier IT services firm based in India, expanding our global delivery footprint. We
are seeking an accomplished, bilingual (Spanish/English) Scrum Master to lead complex
software and digital transformation programs for a key client in Mexico.
This strategic role, anchored in Europe, will serve as the critical communications and
process bridge between client stakeholders and our highly capable Indian delivery team
(Backend, Frontend, QA, Architecture). The ideal candidate will not only master Scrum
principles but also bring proven experience in delivering technology and digital
transformation initiatives across Web, Mobile, E-Commerce, Cloud, and CRM platforms.
They should understand the key concepts, terminology, and life cycles related to these
domains.
Additionally, the role involves representing Capital Numbers at select European industry
events, supporting pre-sales engagements, and helping the Sales team win new clients.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Cultural Communication & Liaison (The Bridge):
Serve as the Spanish-speaking point of contact for the clients product owners and
stakeholders in Mexico.
Translate and articulate complex business requirements (in Spanish) into clear,
actionable user stories for the Indian delivery team (in English).
Facilitate seamless collaboration across time zones and cultural contexts to maintain
project momentum.
Encourage cultural and methodological understanding within distributed teams to
foster trust and unity.
Scrum Execution & Process Optimization:
Lead and coach the India-based Scrum team (including Scrum Master, Architect, and
Delivery Manager).
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Review,
Retrospective).
Remove impediments, especially around client-side dependencies and alignment.
Track and report on velocity, burndown, and sprint health with clear, data-driven
insights.
Client Relationship & Trust Building:
Build long-term client trust through consistent communication and transparency.
Ensure the client understands the value generated in each sprint.
Business Enablement & Representation:
Represent Capital Numbers at select events and conferences across Europe.
Participate in pre-sales discussions, providing delivery inputs that help shape winning
proposals.
Collaborate closely with the Sales team to support deal closures and strengthen
client confidence.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to ongoing process enhancement initiatives within the global delivery
framework.
Promote a mindset of continuous improvement that goes beyond delivery metrics,
emphasizing learning, innovation, and process excellence
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or related field. Scrum
Master Certification (CSM, PSM I/II) is mandatory.
Experience: 5+ years as a Scrum Master, with at least 3 years managing complex
software or digital transformation projects.
Technical Understanding: The candidate must have proven experience delivering
technology and digital transformation initiatives across Web, Mobile, E-Commerce,
Cloud, and CRM domains and understand the key terms and concepts associated
with these technologies.
Language: Professional fluency in both Spanish (native or near-native) and English.
Location: Must be legally authorized to work in a European country and operate
within European time zones.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with Latin American clients and distributed teams in Asia/India.
Familiarity with scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).
