We are seeking an experienced and certified Scrum Master to be a servant leader for one of our core SAP development and delivery teams. This role is in parallel to US Scrum Master. You will be responsible for coaching the team in Agile principles and the Scrum framework, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement to ensure high-quality, value-driven SAP solutions are delivered efficiently and on time in India. This role requires a strong facilitator and communicator who understands the unique lifecycle and technical nature of SAP projects (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, BASIS, specific modules like SD, MM, FICO).

Key Responsibilities

1. Scrum & Agile Facilitation

  • Facilitate all Scrum Events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) ensuring the team adheres to Scrum theory, practices, and rules.
  • Protect the team from external interruptions, scope creep, and non-value-add activities, allowing them to focus on high-priority sprint goals.
  • Coach the Development Team toward self-organization and cross-functionality, promoting clear and effective communication.

2. Impediment Removal & Process Improvement

  • Actively identify, track, and remove impediments and organizational blockers specific to the SAP environment (e.g., transport management issues, lack of system access, environment availability, cross-module dependencies).
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team and across the broader SAP delivery organization, challenging existing processes and encouraging inspection and adaptation through Retrospectives.
  • Track and report key Agile metrics (e.g., Velocity, Burndown Charts, Cycle Time) to the team and stakeholders, using the data to highlight trends and inform process changes. Help consolidating and reporting Org level metrics via Tableau/Power BI dashboards.

3. SAP & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Facilitate communication and coordination across multiple SAP functional teams, Basis teams, and business stakeholders, especially for cross-module dependencies and integrated system testing.
  • Support the team in understanding the technical and functional complexity of SAP requirements to ensure accurate estimation and planning.
  • Champion organizational change and help stakeholders understand and embrace the benefits of Agile and Scrum in an SAP context.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Overall, Min 8-10 yrs of exp. Of which Min.3 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role.
  • Proven experience working with SAP implementation/development teams (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Cloud Platform, ABAP, Fiori).
  • Expert-level knowledge of Agile principles and deep understanding of the Scrum framework.
  • Excellent servant leadership, facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Direct SAP functional/technical experience is a strong asset.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or equivalent certification is required.
  • Experience in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment (SAFe certification is a plus).
  • Familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology and how Scrum integrates into it.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) specifically applied to SAP transport management.
