Job Title: Scrum Master – BFSI (Banking) Domain | 5–8 Years

Location: [BKC-Mumbai]

Experience: 5–8 Years

Job Summary:

We are hiring a seasoned Scrum Master with strong exposure to the BFSI domain to drive Agile delivery for banking transformation programs. we are looking for a much stronger profile with a solid development background along with good exposure to Agile practices. The candidate should also demonstrate the ability to drive execution and ensure deliverables are achieved by the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

Drive Agile adoption and ensure adherence to Scrum practices across squads

Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments in complex banking projects

Collaborate with Product Owners for backlog prioritization and refinement

Track sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, delivery timelines) and ensure timely releases

Work with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders

Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security, and audit requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

5–8 years of IT experience with minimum 5+ years as Scrum Master in BFSI projects

Strong understanding of banking domains: Retail Banking, Payments, Cards, Lending, Core Banking (Finacle/Flexcube)

Proven experience handling client-facing roles in large banking programs

Hands-on with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Certifications (Preferred):

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Professional Scrum Master (PSM)

SAFe Agilist or equivalent (good to have)

Key Traits:

Strong ownership and delivery mindset

Ability to manage multiple squads in a fast-paced environment

Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
