JOB SUMMARY
The Scrum Master supports Agile delivery for assigned teams by facilitating execution, managing dependencies, and ensuring consistent delivery of value. This role focuses on pragmatic Agile execution, stakeholder coordination, and day-to-day delivery support within a fast-paced, cross-team environment.
The role will work closely with teams across Roger, DCT, AI/orchestrator, and upstream systems, requiring strong coordination and dependency management in addition to standard Scrum responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) in a practical and outcome-driven manner
- Act as a servant leader, supporting teams in delivering committed work and removing blockers
- Proactively identify, track, and manage cross-team dependencies across multiple squads and platforms (e.g., Roger, DCT, AI/orchestrator teams)
- Drive delivery coordination, including sprint execution tracking, risk identification, and mitigation
- Partner closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure clarity of priorities and alignment on deliverables
- Provide status updates, reporting, and communication to stakeholders on progress, risks, and dependencies
- Use Azure DevOps or similar tools to manage work, maintain visibility, and support reporting
- Support continuous improvement by adapting Agile practices to team and project needs rather than strictly following frameworks
- Help teams maintain focus on sprint goals while balancing changing priorities and dependencies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe) preferred
TECHNICAL / SOFT SKILLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear status reporting
- Strong coordination and facilitation skills across multiple teams
- Practical understanding of Agile frameworks with the ability to adapt as needed
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in Scrum Master or Agile delivery roles
- Proven experience working in fast-paced delivery environments with multiple dependencies
- Strong experience in stakeholder coordination, reporting, and delivery tracking
- Experience handling both Scrum Master and Project Management responsibilities (required)
- Experience working in professional services, accounting, or regulated environments strongly preferred
- Exposure to SAFe or scaled Agile environments is a plus
