Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Forecast the number of story points available for the next sprint based on holidays, resource availability, and team velocity.
  • Plan and sequence sprint work by priority, balancing workload across Business Analysts, Testers, Lead Testers, and Quality Analysts to ensure full resource utilization and meet UAT and month-end release deadlines.
  • Run daily stand-ups, surface blockers, assign owners, and escalate unresolved issues promptly.
  • Define and drive the agenda for Three Amigos sessions before development starts to ensure shared understanding and readiness.
  • Attend prioritization calls with users and the Production Support Lead to help plan sprint scope within available story points and prevent over-commitment.
  • Proactively secure user availability for UAT to avoid delays and protect release timelines.
  • Ensure all required approvals are in place before release deployment and clearly communicate the confirmed release date to users.
  • Act as custodian of ticket quality and delivery discipline.
  • Produce a weekly internal delivery status report and a monthly externally shared progress update for stakeholders.

Skills Required:

  • Strong experience working as a Scrum Master using Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of sprint planning, estimation, velocity tracking, and backlog management.
  • Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, including conducting stakeholder meetings and status updates.
  • Ability to manage dependencies, identify risks, and proactively resolve impediments.
  • Experience working in Insurance domain, specifically P&C Policy Administration Systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education:Bachelor's Degree in related field
