Must- haves:

• 6+ years of experience working as a scrum master for Agile teams within a SAFe environment
• Experience leading Scrum/Agile team events, including stand-ups, spring planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ability to support multiple scrum teams simultaneously, consisting of engineers, QAs, and a product owner
• Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and deliver clear program/team status and action plans
• Strong time management, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Day to day:

Insight Global is looking for a Scrum Master to join our large insurance client. The Scrum Master will support two Agile delivery teams, enabling consistent, high‑quality software delivery in a SAFe environment. This role focuses on keeping teams aligned by providing clear communication, practical guidance, and the tools needed to meet sprint and release commitments. Responsibilities include leading core Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint and release planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. The Scrum Master will track team health through velocity and progress metrics, sharing updates with stakeholders to maintain transparency. This individual will actively remove blockers, manage cross‑team dependencies, and minimize distractions so teams can stay focused on sprint goals. They will partner closely with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well‑prioritized and sprint‑ready, coaching teams on writing clear user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and making realistic commitments. Continuous improvement is critical to the role, as the Scrum Master reinforces Agile principles, promotes collaboration, and drives incremental process enhancements.
