Role Description The Scrum Master role is a full-time, on-site position based in Canada. This role facilitates Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to support efficient delivery of immigration consultancy and supporting technology solutions. The Scrum Master collaborates closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to refine user stories, remove impediments, and ensure alignment with business goals. Responsibilities include coaching team members on Agile principles, tracking progress through metrics and boards, and promoting continuous improvement in processes and collaboration. The role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements that improve client experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sprint Planning skills and experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret team metrics, identify bottlenecks, and support data-informed decision-making.
• Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess experience working with User Stories, including writing, refining, and prioritizing them within product backlogs.
• Candidates should possess an understanding of Software Development processes and Agile methodologies to effectively support cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent are beneficial.
• Experience working in technology-enabled service environments, consulting, or immigration services is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively, maintain transparency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
