Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with deep expertise in program management to lead agile delivery of global enterprise IT infrastructure and security projects. This role requires a blend of program management skills and technical understanding of infrastructure domains including cloud platforms, network systems, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Facilitation
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews) for multiple infrastructure teams
- Remove impediments and blockers that impact team velocity and program delivery
- Foster continuous improvement culture through retrospectives and process optimization
- Guide teams through scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus) for large infrastructure initiatives
Program Management
- Coordinate cross-functional infrastructure programs involving multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, release plans, and dependency management frameworks
- Manage program-level risks, issues, and escalations with senior leadership
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and program health metrics
- Facilitate program increment (PI) planning and quarterly business reviews
- Ensure alignment between infrastructure delivery and business objectives
Infrastructure Domain Leadership
- Partner with Infrastructure Architects, Engineers, and Operations teams on technical delivery
- Support planning and execution of infrastructure modernization initiatives (cloud migration, network upgrades)
- Coordinate with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes for production deployments
- Facilitate integration between infrastructure teams and application development groups
- Manage dependencies between infrastructure and business applications
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as primary liaison between infrastructure teams and business stakeholders
- Provide transparent program status reporting to executive leadership
- Facilitate cross-team coordination and conflict resolution
- Build strong relationships with vendor partners and third-party service providers
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Certifications & Education
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification required
- Advanced Scrum Master certification (CSP-SM, PSM II/III) preferred
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification (SPC, RTE, or SA) highly preferred
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent program management certification preferred
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience with at least 3 years in infrastructure or platform teams
- 3+ years of program management experience leading complex, multi-team initiatives
- Proven track record managing infrastructure programs (cloud platforms, networking, enterprise applications)
- Experience with infrastructure technologies: AWS/Azure, networking protocols, databases, monitoring tools
- Strong background in IT Service Management (ITIL) and DevOps practices
- Experience with agile scaling frameworks in enterprise environments
