Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly drivenScrum Masterwith strong exposure to thePharmaceutical domainand prior experience working withUS clients. The ideal candidate will have deep practical experience in Scrum, Agile Transformation initiatives, and engineering excellence practices including DevOps and XP-based methodologies.
This role requires a hands-on Agile leader who can drive delivery excellence in a hybrid working environment while collaborating with distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as aServant Leaderfor Agile teams, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Drive Agile adoption and lead Agile Transformation initiatives within Pharma / Life Sciences projects.
- Work closely with US-based stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment and transparency.
- Coach teams onScrum, XP engineering practices, DevOps, and Test Automation.
- Ensure Agile maturity through effective use of metrics (Velocity, Burn-down, Cycle Time, Lead Time, etc.).
- Enable OKR alignment between business goals and sprint outcomes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlog and prioritize business value.
- Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support engineering teams working on.NET and SQL-based systems.
Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years of total IT experience
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience
- CertifiedCSM (Certified Scrum Master)orPSM (Professional Scrum Master)
- Strong experience inPharmaceutical / Life Sciences domain
- Experience working withUS clients / distributed global teams
- Proven experience inAgile Transformation initiatives
- Hands-on exposure to:
- DevOps practices
- Test Automation frameworks
- XP-based engineering practices (TDD, CI/CD, Pair Programming, Refactoring)
- Strong understanding of Agile Metrics and reporting dashboards
- Experience implementing and aligning OKRs
- Currently residing inHyderabad(mandatory for hybrid work model)
Good to Have
- Experience in regulated environments (FDA, GxP, validation processes)
- SAFe or enterprise-level Agile exposure
- Experience scaling Agile across multiple teams
Working Model
- Hybrid: 4 Days Work from Office (Hyderabad), 1 Day Work from Home
- Contract Role: 1 Year (Conversion to long-term role based on performance and project continuity)
