Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Good to have skills : Health Insurance Operations, Agile Project Management, Generative AI

Minimum 5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. The role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are promptly addressed to maintain momentum. The Scrum Master actively supports collaboration within the team and across departments, facilitating communication and transparency. Monitoring progress and providing insights through relevant metrics are also key aspects of the daily routine, all aimed at promoting continuous improvement and delivering value efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance Agile maturity and promote self-organization within the team.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a learning environment.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Good To Have Skills: Health Insurance Operations, Agile Project Management, Generative AI.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• Experience in facilitating team collaboration and conflict resolution to maintain a productive work environment.
• Ability to track and report progress using Agile metrics and tools to support transparency and continuous improvement.
• Skilled in identifying and removing impediments that hinder team performance and delivery.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
