Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and research-driven YouTube Script Writer who understands audience psychology, storytelling techniques, and content hooks. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently researching topics, identifying trending ideas, and writing engaging scripts that retain viewers from start to finish.

This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about tech and understands how successful YouTube content is structured.

Responsibilities:

As a Consumer Tech Script Writer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Research & Topic Ideation - Research trending topics in technology, gadgets, and apps. Identify content opportunities based on trends and audience interest. Suggest original and engaging video ideas regularly.

• Scriptwriting & Storytelling - Write complete YouTube scripts with strong hooks, engaging narratives, and clear conclusions. Convert technical concepts into simple, relatable, and entertaining stories.Write for Shorts style formats.

• Collaboration & Production Support - Coordinate with hosts, editors, and production teams to ensure smooth execution. Revise scripts based on feedback and production requirements.Assist in shoot planning by providing clear script cues and flow.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience in YouTube scriptwriting (tech or infotainment preferred).
• Strong storytelling ability with understanding of hooks, pacing, and viewer retention.
• Excellent research and fact-checking skills.
• Good understanding of technology, gadgets, apps and digital trends.
• Ability to simplify complex topics for a general audience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced content environment.

Preferred (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of YouTube algorithms and content strategy.
• Experience with viral or high-performing content.
• Understanding of video production workflow.
