Job Description
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise monitoring solutions using SCOM
- Manage end-to-end monitoring of servers, applications, databases, and network infrastructure
- Define monitoring standards, alerting thresholds, and escalation procedures
- Develop and maintain custom SCOM Management Packs Integrate SCOM with other tools ITSM tools like ServiceNow, ticketing systems, automation tools
- Drive proactive monitoring to minimize incidents and improve system availability
- Lead root cause analysis RCA and problem management initiatives Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams
- Mentor and guide L2/L3 monitoring engineers
- Create dashboards, reports, and executive-level summaries on system health
- Ensure compliance with SLA, KPI, and operational excellence standards
