Job Title: Strategic Sourcing – SME

To drive strategic sourcing initiatives by managing supplier relationships, executing sourcing projects, optimizing procurement costs, and ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery. The role focuses on cost optimization, supplier performance management, analytics-driven decision-making, and sourcing strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing across direct and indirect spend categories.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to business goals.

Perform spend analysis to drive cost savings and supplier consolidation.

Manage RFQ/RFP/RFI processes, including supplier evaluation and negotiations.

Lead contract negotiations and manage contract lifecycle and compliance.

Oversee supplier onboarding, performance management, and QBRs.

Monitor supplier KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, compliance, service).

Drive risk mitigation and alternate sourcing strategies.

Deliver cost reduction through consolidation, value engineering, and process optimization.

Track savings pipeline, realized savings, and cost avoidance.

Build dashboards and reports using Excel / Power BI.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into sourcing strategies.

Prepare leadership presentations and sourcing performance reports.

Mentor junior team members and drive continuous process improvement and digital adoption.

Responsibilities

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Strategic sourcing and procurement best practices

RFQ/RFP execution and contract negotiation

Spend analytics, cost modelling, and savings tracking

Supplier performance and contract lifecycle management

Basic SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Oracle ERP

Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen

Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or Finance

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related fields

1 FTE – 8-10 years of leading Procurement team.

Shift Timings: 5:00 pm to 2:00 am IST.
