Outpace Consulting Services is seeking an experienced professional for the role of SCM Pre Sales - Sourcing & Procurement for a leading ITES company. This role is crucial in supporting the sales process by developing and presenting compelling solutions for sourcing and procurement. You will be responsible for responding to RFx, conducting client workshops, due diligence, and process studies, building trusted relationships with sales teams and clients, and showcasing tailored service propositions. Key expertise includes Source to Pay processes, spend analysis, and in-depth knowledge of procurement-related tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- RFx Response & Solutioning: Lead responses to RFx (RFP/RFQ) for sourcing and procurement solutions, showcasing service propositions that specifically address identified client needs.
- Client Engagement & Due Diligence: Participate in client workshops, due diligence, and process studies to understand client requirements and build trusted relationships with sales teams and client accounts.
- Content Development: Create and manage a repository of reusable content, case studies, and standard sales/capability presentations.
- Domain Expertise Leverage: Leverage deep domain and/or business/industry expertise in Sourcing & Procurement to help increase revenue and sales for existing and new accounts.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with the Pre-Sales Manager and Business teams to ensure all sales documentation and collateral are up-to-date and relevant. Collaborate with technology and sales teams to develop internal tools for process improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience with a focus on Pre-sales, Solutioning within Sourcing & Procurement.
- Domain Expertise: Strong understanding and experience in Source to Pay processes.
- Experience in Spend Analysis.
- Familiarity with process mining tools.
- Understanding of industry processes/domain in at least one of the Retail, Consumer Goods, or Manufacturing industries.
- Skills:Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to communicate professionally in written responses and explain abstract concepts simply.
- Strong negotiation, data analytics, excellent MS Word and presentation creation skills.
- Ability to work in ambiguous data & information, under pressure, and collaboratively within teams.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good commercial acumen and listening skills.
- Education: Any Graduate.
Mandatory Work Requirements / Experience:
- Willingness to work in different shifts (including nights) dependent on requirements.
- Prior experience in a Presales department in another organization.
- Experience or understanding of latest Procurement/SCM technologies in the market.
