Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Science Studio Demonstrator, based in Kakori. The role involves setting up and demonstrating hands-on experiments and models to enhance science learning in classrooms. Responsibilities include preparing and organizing equipment, conducting interactive science sessions, explaining complex scientific concepts in an understandable manner, and ensuring the safety and proper usage of materials. The Science Studio Demonstrator will collaborate with educators to align the demonstrations with the curriculum and foster an engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and principles, with the ability to effectively communicate them to diverse age groups
• Hands-on skills for setting up and conducting experiments or using scientific models
• Experience in teaching, training, or facilitating educational sessions, particularly in the sciences
• Proficient organizational and time-management skills for managing materials and coordinating sessions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and teachers
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an educational environment
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field; experience in science education is an advantage
• Passion for science education and inspiring young learners
