Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for the position of Science Space Educator. Responsibilities include designing and delivering interactive astronomy and science workshops, developing creative lesson plans, and conducting engaging stargazing programs for students, families, and other visitors. The role involves using science and storytelling to inspire curiosity about space, as well as collaborating with the team to provide an exceptional visitor experience by integrating adventure and learning opportunities. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Science Education, with knowledge in Physics or Mathematics
• Experience as a Qualified Teacher, with a proven ability to communicate and engage with diverse age groups
• Proficiency in creating interactive and engaging Lesson Plans for educational programs
• Passion for astronomy and space exploration, with excellent presentation and public speaking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to dynamic, on-site responsibilities
• Experience in leading or supporting workshops and outdoor activities is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or related field is preferred
