Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven School Sales Executive with a recent publishing sales background (books, educational content, or school publishing solutions). The ideal candidate will leverage existing school networks to drive partnerships, onboard schools, and promote The Education Matchs career counselling programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and build relationships with schools (principals, trustees, coordinators, and career counsellors).
- Leverage existing publishing sales networks to generate leads and appointments.
- Conduct presentations and demos of The Education Matchs programs to school decision-makers.
- Negotiate and close school-level partnerships for counselling and awareness programs.
- Support client servicing post-sales to ensure smooth program execution.
- Provide market insights to leadership on school needs, competition, and adoption trends.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in any field
- 25 years of recent publishing sales experience (school books, educational content, or learning solutions)
- Proven track record of selling into schools / K12 institutions
- Strong network with school decision-makers (principals, trustees, coordinators)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with field sales and frequent school visits in Mumbai and surrounding regions
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/PG in Marketing, Sales, or related fields
- Exposure to EdTech or education services sales
- Ability to independently manage lead generation to closure
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital communication platforms
