Key Responsibilities:

School Design:

• Develop a three-year vision and strategy for the school.
• Design the student week, unit, and year based on school context and resources.
• Manage school operations including facility management, data recording, submissions, and government permissions.
• Create and sustain a nurturing and high-performing culture for staff and students.
• Monitor day-to-day school functioning and progress toward vision, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Document best practices and resources to assist other schools.
• Collaborate with Finance Team to optimize school budgets for effective resource allocation.

Team Management:

• Understand each staff member's strengths and co-create ambitious annual goals.
• Coach staff on design, execution, and reflection aspects of their work.
• Review staff progress quarterly and identify critical levers for improvement.
• Build a high-performing staff culture; lead culture norming meetings.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure staff career growth and retention.

Stakeholder Investment:

• Build strong partnerships with local elected leaders and education officers.
• Engage with School Management Committee and parent body for support.
• Leverage funding and volunteering partners to provide necessary resources for staff and students.
