Job Description

Industry & Sector: K-12 education and school operations within the private/academic staffing sector. We serve student-centric learning environments that prioritise teacher quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence at campus level.

Role: HR Executive (School / Education) On-site at Sadahalli Gate, Devanahalli, Bangalore. This hands-on role partners with school leadership to run end-to-end HR operations for teaching and non-teaching staff.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for teaching and support staff: create job adverts, shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, prepare offers and follow up on onboarding formalities.
  • Manage onboarding and induction: collect documentation, complete background checks, run orientation sessions and ensure timely joining formalities.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and HRIS data; generate monthly HR reports (hiring, attrition, attendance, leaves).
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with finance: attendance reconciliation, leave calculations, statutory deductions and benefits support.
  • Handle employee relations and performance support: resolve grievances, coordinate appraisals, implement disciplinary processes per policy.
  • Ensure statutory and school-policy compliance: PF/ESI adherence, local labour law requirements, teacher certifications and mandatory filings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline; certification or coursework in HR is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing HR operations in a school or K-12 setting preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of Indian statutory requirements for schools (PF, ESI, professional tax) and experience coordinating background verifications.
