Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and student-focused School Career Counsellor to join a reputed school in Ellenabad. The candidate will be responsible for providing career guidance to students, conducting counselling sessions, and supporting students in making informed academic and career decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group career counselling to students, primarily from Classes 9–12.
• Conduct career guidance sessions based on students interests, strengths, aptitude, and career aspirations.
• Administer and interpret psychometric and career assessment tools.
• Guide students regarding suitable academic streams, courses, colleges, and career options.
• Maintain counselling records and prepare student progress reports.
• Conduct workshops and career awareness sessions for students.
• Coordinate with teachers, school management, and parents when required.
• Stay updated on emerging career options, entrance examinations, courses, and higher-education pathways.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and counselling discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field.
• 6 months–1 year of experience in career counselling, school counselling, or a similar role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of academic streams and career pathways.
• Comfortable working with school students, especially Classes 9–12.
• Ability to conduct counselling sessions and presentations independently.
• Candidates willing to relocate/stay in Ellenabad are preferred.
