We are seeking a highly experienced SCCM Professional with 10-15 years of total experience and a minimum of 10 years of relevant expertise in managing complex SCCM environments. The ideal candidate will be adept at all aspects of SCCM infrastructure, deployment, patching, and reporting, with strong scripting and troubleshooting skills. This role requires a hands-on expert who can ensure the smooth operation and security of our client's SCCM infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management:Lead the planning, installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SCCM infrastructure and services.
- (Implied) Lead the design, implementation, and management of SCCM infrastructure.
- Deployment & Management:Design, deploy, and manage software, updates, and operating systems across the network using SCCM.
- Create and manage task sequences for Operating System Deployment (OSD).
- Collection & Package Management:Create and effectively manage collections, applications, and packages within the SCCM environment.
- (Implied) Manage deployments and reports associated with these.
- Reporting & Monitoring:Generate comprehensive reports on application installation status, client health, and other relevant metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:Actively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within SCCM and related systems.
- Provide expert technical support to end-users and other IT staff.
- Scripting:Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) for automating routine tasks and efficiently managing the SCCM environment.
- Patch Management:Manage software patches and updates comprehensively through WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
- (Implied) Manage desktop patching through WSUS.
- Network & Security:Possess a strong understanding of and effectively manage network configurations, firewall rules, and security settings to ensure a secure SCCM environment that complies with organizational policies and standards.
- Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other IT teams (e.g., network, support) and end-users to ensure smooth operations and address their evolving needs.
