We are seeking an SCCM Application Packaging Professional with hands-on experience in SCCM, ServiceNow, and Jira. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of PowerShell and strong technical knowledge of Windows OS (Win10, Win11), including software installation, Virtual Desktop Citrix, and Desktop Applications. You'll be responsible for performing deployment pre-checkouts, post-deployment follow-ups, and managing failed installs, all while maintaining high-quality documentation and providing essential desktop operational services.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Packaging & Deployment: Utilize SCCM for application packaging and deployment, ensuring successful software distribution across the enterprise.
- Deployment Management: Perform deployment pre-checkouts using provided check scripts and tools. Conduct post-deployment follow-ups, including metrics reporting, tracking failed install endpoints, and initiating remediation for failed installs.
- Issue Escalation: Escalate deployment failures that exceed specified failure thresholds in a timely manner.
- Operational Support: Provide firm-wide desktop operational services, supporting software installations and application functionality.
- Documentation & Procedures: Maintain documentation and procedures related to application packaging and deployment processes.
- System Knowledge: Apply technical knowledge of Windows OS (Win10, 11), Virtual Desktop Citrix, and Desktop Applications in MS Excel.
- Collaboration & Problem Solving: Work collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating tenacity to deliver, excellent attention to detail, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly.
- Tool Utilization: Effectively use ServiceNow and Jira for incident, change, and project management.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
- Experience with ServiceNow and Jira.
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell.
- Technical knowledge of Windows OS (Win10, 11), including software installation.
- Experience with Virtual Desktop Citrix.
- Proficiency with Desktop Applications in MS Excel.
