We are looking for a skilled SCCM Administrator with 4 to 5 years of experience to manage and maintain our Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) environment. The candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting SCCM infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient software distribution, patch management, and system updates across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the SCCM environment, including site servers, distribution points, and management points
- Plan, design, and implement software deployment packages, patch management, and OS deployment using SCCM
- Monitor SCCM infrastructure health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Manage device collections, compliance settings, and reporting
- Configure and maintain SCCM client agents across all endpoints
- Automate routine SCCM tasks and workflows using scripting (PowerShell)
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure timely deployment of security patches and updates
- Coordinate with other IT teams for system upgrades, integration, and troubleshooting
- Maintain documentation of SCCM configurations, processes, and procedures
- Ensure adherence to change management and ITIL processes in SCCM operations
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT teams
Required Skills:
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft SCCM (Current Branch preferred)
- Strong knowledge of software deployment, patch management, and OS imaging using SCCM
- Experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory integration
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation
- Familiarity with WSUS and patch management lifecycle
- Experience in troubleshooting SCCM client and server-side issues
- Knowledge of SCCM reporting and SQL queries
- Understanding of network protocols and firewall configurations impacting SCCM
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Experience with Intune or Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM)
- Familiarity with third-party patch management tools and integrations
- Exposure to Cloud Management Gateway (CMG) and cloud-based SCCM deployments
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools like ServiceNow
