Job Title : Senior Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain SCCM infrastructure, including distribution points, management points, and site servers.
  • Manage and support Microsoft Intune in hybrid integration with SCCM, enabling unified endpoint management across on-premises and cloud devices.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex issues related to SCCM client installations, software deployments, patch management, OS deployments, and Intune device management.
  • Manage SCCM and Intune co-management scenarios, including workload migration from SCCM to Intune.
  • Develop and maintain SCCM software packages, applications, task sequences, and Intune policies/profiles.
  • Automate routine SCCM and Intune tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and health of SCCM and Intune services.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement SCCM and Intune-based compliance and security policies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of SCCM and Intune architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to L1 and L2 engineers on SCCM and Intune issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors and Microsoft support for escalations, patch management, and hybrid integration issues.
  • Plan and execute SCCM upgrades, Intune configuration changes, and migration projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing and supporting SCCM environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and hybrid co-management with SCCM.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS deployment using SCCM (OSD).
  • Experience with Patch Management using SCCM and Intune.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, Windows Server, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience troubleshooting SCCM client and Intune-managed device issues.
  • Knowledge of Endpoint Protection and integration between SCCM and Intune.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
