Scanning Technician

Responsibilities:

• Operating 3D laser scanning equipment to accurately record vessel geometry (both internal and external)
• Processing point cloud data using software such as Autodesk Recap, FARO Scene, and Peerless
• Ensuring safe handling, transport, and setup of scanning equipment
• Collaborating with engineers and project teams to interpret scan data and meet technical specifications
• Maintaining organized documentation and adhering to data management protocols
• Complying with safety standards, especially in marine, industrial, and offshore environments
• Demonstrating independence, adaptability, and readiness to work in challenging field conditions

Qualifications:

• ITI certification or completion of 12th grade (Higher Secondary)
