Job Title: Scaled AI DevOps and Value Engineer

Role Summary

The Scaled AI DevOps and Value engineer is responsible for managing day-to-day DevOps and Agile delivery operations within the AI/PI Team. This position focuses on execution excellence, cross-functional coordination, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives that support reliable and efficient delivery outcomes.

The role works closely with senior leadership, engineering teams, product owners, infrastructure teams, and support functions to ensure delivery alignment, operational stability, and adherence to DevOps and Scaled Agile practices. The position is suited for a strong mid-management professional with hands-on operational leadership experience in Agile and DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage DevOps and Agile delivery activities across assigned AI Tower initiatives and operational workstreams.
Coordinate sprint execution, backlog alignment, Agile ceremonies, and release planning activities with delivery teams.
Track operational KPIs, SLAs, delivery metrics, and service performance indicators to support continuous improvement.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to improve delivery coordination and execution efficiency.
Support CI/CD pipeline optimization efforts to enhance deployment reliability, automation, and release quality.
Facilitate dependency tracking and coordination across cross-functional teams within the Scaled Agile framework.
Partner with incident and problem management teams to support issue resolution, root cause analysis, and operational stability improvements.
Monitor operational risks, delivery bottlenecks, and escalation items while ensuring timely communication to stakeholders.
Provide operational reporting, delivery updates, and KPI dashboards to leadership and program stakeholders.
Support adherence to Agile, DevOps, security, and operational standards across the delivery lifecycle.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices, collaboration, delivery discipline, and continuous improvement principles.
Work alongside senior leadership to support execution of AI Tower delivery objectives and operational priorities.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve team productivity, release effectiveness, and service delivery performance.
Ensure effective coordination between development, operations, support, and business teams for successful delivery outcomes.

Key Activities

DevOps and Agile Operations Focus

The role emphasizes operational execution and delivery management within a Scaled Agile environment supporting AI platforms and services. The position is responsible for helping teams maintain delivery consistency, operational visibility, and process discipline while supporting continuous enhancement initiatives.

Support Agile program increment planning and sprint coordination activities.
Monitor release readiness and deployment schedules across delivery streams.
Track and report sprint velocity, defect trends, deployment success rates, and service KPIs.
Promote collaboration between DevOps, engineering, QA, and operational support teams.
Assist teams in improving workflow efficiency and reducing operational delays.
Encourage adoption of automation and standardized DevOps practices where appropriate.

Stakeholder Collaboration

The position requires strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, operational stakeholders, and delivery leadership. The role focuses on execution alignment and operational collaboration rather than enterprise-wide strategic ownership.

Coordinate with product owners and delivery managers on sprint priorities and execution plans.
Provide regular status updates, operational insights, and KPI reporting to stakeholders.
Support issue escalation management and cross-team coordination for delivery dependencies.
Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure smooth operational execution.
Maintain strong working relationships across technical and business functions.

People Management and Team Development

The role includes direct support for team development, collaboration, and performance improvement within a delivery-focused environment.

Guide and mentor Agile and DevOps team members on delivery best practices.
Support onboarding and knowledge-sharing activities for new team members.
Encourage accou ntability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Assist in workload coordination and resource planning activities.
Promote a positive and delivery-oriented team culture.

Operational KPI and Reporting Responsibilities

A key focus of the role is maintaining operational visibility through accurate reporting, KPI tracking, and delivery performance monitoring.

Track sprint performance, release metrics, SLA adherence, and operational KPIs.
Maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms for delivery and operational performance.
Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Support operational reviews and continuous improvement discussions with stakeholders.
Ensure timely communication of delivery risks, issues, and mitigation activities.

Experience

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in Agile delivery, DevOps operations, project coordination, or technology delivery management roles.
Experience working in Scaled Agile and DevOps-driven environments.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe concepts.
Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and operational support models.
Experience with KPI tracking, SLA management, and operational reporting.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage delivery dependencies.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience supporting incident management and operational improvement initiatives.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to AI, cloud, or enterprise platform delivery environments.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
Understanding of automation, infrastructure operations, and deployment workflows.
Experience working with distributed or hybrid delivery teams.
Relevant Agile or DevOps certifications are considered advantageous.
