JOB DESCRIPTION

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Test features & functionalities within our Ovation Green SCADA applications according to specification.

  • Perform smoke test, first pass test and regression test along with team and report findings.

  • Maintain the skill level of the whole engineering organization.

  • Contributes to the overall quality of the organization in the testing of all applications, ensuring high performance on a variety of platforms.

  • Contribute to creating test plans, running test cases, preparing test scenarios & test reports.

  • Contribute to recreating the reported issues and report findings.

  • Contribute to creating automated and manual tests for a variety of different software systems.

  • Ensure that testing routines are structured and of high quality.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • BE/BTech Engineering course (Instrumentation, EE, ECE, Power)

  • 3+ years of experience in testing and testing methodologies

  • Experience in testing web UI applications and server backend

  • Familiarity with client- server concepts and technologies

  • Knowledge of SQL and non-SQL databases

  • Basic knowledge of RESTful API, WebSocket and their testing methodology

Able to communicate at a good level of English

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Basic knowledge of scripting (shell, JavaScript)

  • Basic knowledge of fault tolerant systems

  • Networking knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of SCADA systems

  • Basic knowledge of renewable assets (wind turbines, solar plants, BESS)

  • Basic knowledge of industry protocols: OPC UA, Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-104 & IEC 61850

  • Knowledge of Renewable process e.g. Wind, Hydro, BESS etc.
